Could This Be Bye-Bye Obama

In what is shaping up to be one of the craziest elections of all times, I know some have called it a historic election, some refer to it as the most important election of all time, I'm going with crazy.
We've seen a lot of twists and turns with the whole bunch of these wanna-be Presidents. This latest unraveling of reality puts Obama on the hot seat. Plain and very apparent is the fact that his spiritual mentor hates what he thinks America is, and he blames the white man.
Now, I agree that each candidate is going to have to deal with whacko's coming out of the woodwork, saying strange and unusual things. Somebody even came up with the lovely phrase, " Just because a person believes in what I'm saying, doesn't mean I believe in what they say." Very true.
This latest discovery is a little bit different however, actually it's a lot different. I can already hear his supporters clamoring about, preparing to announce, "He came out and distanced himself from the remarks of his personal spiritual advisor." This wasn't a follower that stepped out to endorse Obama, this is someone Obama choose to follow for spiritual guidance
For those who don't know or haven't figured it out yet, every one of these candidates is given a card deck when they start the race, and they all seem to have the same deck. 52 different cards for separate occasions to be used accordingly. When this happens, you say that, and when that happens, you say this.
Problem for Obama is, by playing his trump card on this one, he wants you and I to believe he never knew his preacher was that crazy. Not ever, in some odd 800 times he sat in the pew, or had personal meeting with this guy, or talked with fellow parishioners, not once in over 20 years did he hear even a hint of this hatred.
There are more than a few, that summize this to mean he is either straight up a liar, or to stupid to even be a Senator, let alone President.
Maybe some 20 year old, naive college girl is going to think, I don't want to believe it, so I'm not going to believe it, but maybe a few more people are going to step back out of the haze and look at what Obama and his mama really do think and believe in.
Up til now he has run a campaign based on 3 words, Hope, Change, and (name the city your in.) That time is coming to a close, and the closer to the Big Show we get, the more he's going to be forced to reveal some unanswered questions.
Shines starting to come off the apple,now we may find out, is it going to be sweet or way to sour to finish ?

More commentsA very well written article. I've been watching this for months, wondering if it was ever going to hit the fan. I mean, Obama didn't hide his affiliation - it was his church, his pastor, his mentor. And the first time I read the 10-point vision of the church, I just could not believe that people would accept this from a President of the U.S. The vision is right at the top of the church's home page, it's not hidden. The last time I checked the site was March 1, and the only page that was working that day was the vision page...the rest of the site was under construction. So the vision was their face to the world. Take #4: A congregation with a non-negotiable COMMITMENT TO AFRICA. (Their caps, not mine) All this time I've been wondering if, behind the scenes of the Obama campaign, they thought this was hilarious, that he would win the election with this information right out there in the open and no one questioning it. Something that makes me somewhat angry is that Obama became the frontrunner, when we might have had someone else in the Democratic party that would give Hillary a run for her money (no, I don't know who). Now we're back to Clinton and McCain. Yippee. A month ago when Michelle Obama said "Let me tell you, for the first time in my adult life, I am really proud of my country," I thought it would all come to light then. When it didn't, I just figured that people just didn't think it was any big deal. I never entertained the idea that he would try to "reject" and "repudiate" statements made by his pastor, when he found out about them. When He Found Out About Them? They are the building blocks of Trinity United Church of Christ. It's like you said Michael, now he looks like "he is either straight up a liar, or too stupid to even be a Senator, let alone President." He had plenty of time to plan for this, in case it did hit his campaign at some point. And that's the best he can do? Even though I wanted to see a woman president, I didn't think Hillary was the right one. I liked and supported Obama. But when I first learned of this affiliation, I was taken aback. I don't think a black separatist for president is a good idea, no matter what kind of shape our country is in. Hi Michael. As was expected, the article is straight as an arrow. Obama could not possibly have been unaware of his preacher's racist stance. Not when Louis Farrakhan and the preacher are best of friends. Farrakhan is also openly supporting Obama and Obama has been timidly quiet on that point. He doesn't rail out at him as he does about "Change". I just hope people wise up before the election is over and it is too late. To say "I told You so" never does much good.Joel, thanks again for your comments. Look ...I have no idea what this man thinks and feels, just my own logic of the information presented to us. God...I just wish one of them would stand up and talk like the average person they all claim to represent. It's like watching manicured robots. Michael, I appreciate the article. I go in and out of election watch, what with all my irons in the fire, so I appreciate the detailed update. One thing I’d like to point out that isn’t directly related to what you’ve stated here, is the fact that so many people have “negative mouth.” Kinda like potty mouth, but worse. I’m talking about the absolute negatives thrown around, that a candidate is an "idiot," "clueless," "moron," "useless," and so on. Not all of these comments I've seen on Search Warp, of course. But these politicians are not idiots, and it takes a lot of time and guts to get to where they are, so let's not tear them down too far. We may disagree, but respect is so in arrears these days it's not funny. As a point of note, I’d like to see just a small fraction of these armchair quarterbacks do a fraction of the job these “idiots” do. It’s damn hard to get in front of thousands, millions of people, never mind doing so with few screw ups. I mean, I make some damn good mistakes on an all too regular basis; I’m just glad I’m dealing only in hundreds, not thousands or millions of people. Gesshhhhh! That said, should we be surprised when ANY candidate comes forth with skeletons in their closest? I hope we're not so naive to think that people are imperfect. You can look at any past president and future candidate to find the same. Since I started voting, it's always been people voting for the "lesser of two evils." No kidding. Wonder why? That said, it’s forever a challenge to find an “imperfect” to get behind since you choose between one or the other in the end. But think, what are the odds that you, a single "imperfect," one out of 300 million will jump with joy: “That’s the one, baby! That’s the one!” Statistically, pretty slim. That's part of the reason I've gone from not interested to being an Independent to a Republican to a . . . Who knows? I'm actully looking at Green now. I like Green, reminds me of growth, life, prosperity. Maybe I'll go there. There's even a Family Values Party! Hell, I'm gonna create my own. It's called the Lesser of Two Evils Party. It is what they've chosen to do though. I'm guilty of, what you call negative mouth, it's not so much finding a candidate that doesn't have things in their past, everyone does, but I'd like to find one that doesn't use political lingo to explain it away. Just tell the truth, that's all I would want. It doesn't impress me that someone went to college and learned the politically correct side stepping speech patterns that all in politics use. It's not hard to learn how to sway large numbers of folks to achieve things you put your name on. What would make me step back and say "That's the one baby,,,he's it for me." Is the guy that puts away the pre-written speech, looks into the camera and starts with, " My fellow Americans, this is how it is, no BS no fancy double talk and if I offend anyone...oh well we'll deal with that later." I don't know what's wrong with attending a church where the Paster SCREAMS at the congregation and teaches hate and anti-American philosophies... ahum (smile) Noticing the sometimes sensitivity with comments please know that I am commenting only in jest -- if you read my second to last article you will see my feelingS regarding this comical election... good material for a Saturday Night Live routine... Great article, Michael. I haven't really kept up with the campaigning as I should--especially being a voter and all--but, I guess I figured, it's kinda like driving thru Dallas with an Arkansas license plate (nobody notices the dumb things you do). But this 'Miss America' contest (as someone said above) is really starting to get on my last nerve--that's what my mom used to say just before she yanked a knot in our tail! And I really don't want to be one of those people who sit back and let what happens happen--I really do care. To applaud Mr. Obama for his quick and 'emotional' retorick to his associates' faux pau is ludicous to say the least. He's a politician for goodness sakes! He's going to do whatever it takes to salvage his campaign and his supporters are already getting the word out that he has accomplished just that. ??? I may be from Arkansas, but even I have to question that one! Anyway, back to your article--I think you have your thumb on the pulse of this one! Have a good day and keep up the good work. Hello Michael my friend, how are you! Great article. My take so far is that Barack is different. His speeches seem to turn people into themselves so that they can explore their own feelings, rather than point fingers at others which let's them off the hook. Pat Buchanan this morning derided his speech by stressing this point; that Obama shifted the emphasis off himself to what the country is feeling inwardly. I don't see that a negative. As a meditator, I see the incredible wisdom of searchng inside ourselves, because that's the only place where love and comapassion can be found, and fear erased. I see Obama as transcendant. Whether others come to this conclusion (or whether he truly is) remains to be seen. Best..............eHey ...Mr. Rock, I'm still smiling, how 'bout yourself ! I agree that so far, Barack speaks with a different tone. His words do have a way of turning ( now here's where it may be dangerous, cause you can turn people TO or turn them AWAY from something with words ) the attention towards what he wants people to concentrate on. Buchanan may have been trying to point out that the two major issues a lot of people wanted to hear were avoided. 1. How could he (Obama) say he had no idea of his preachers ridiculous views for over 20 years, cause he did say that, and 2. Why he (Obama) continued attending such an extremely bitter and ( here's the big one) hateful church for so long. In a weird way his eloquent speech patterns, tho pleasing to some, actually prevented him from telling us what we wanted to know. Sometimes a simple yes or no says a lot more than a beautiful string of verbal mind paintings. To me it was like if I got caught with my hand in the cookie jar and when you asked me why I was doing it, instead of giving you the short, to the point admission, I went on for an hour about the wonderful joys of cookies and how all people big & small should embrace their cookie love and how together if we truly understand each other there will be cookies for everyone.....you see what I mean ? You see Obama as transcendant ...right now I see him as transparent. He's one hell of a word smithy ....almost too good, like that's all he's got. To quote an old Bruce Cockburn song " Those who know don't have the words to tell, and the ones with the words don't know to well." but as you said ...remains to be seen. Michael

The truth hurts, and yet it must be told. Thanks for being audacious enough to do so, Michael--and keep up the great work!Thank You Danny, A lot of people thought obama was the greatest thing since string cheese, in my opinion after watching and listening to him ( and I really really wanted to like this guy ) he's the worst one of them all ...yeah, even hillary. He gives good speeches, but his latest plan to rise up the conversation of race instead of down playing it, is going to put him away for good. He knows, you know, hell everybody knows, blacks gotta stop already with the blame the white guy ..... You want a good representative for the hope of the blacks, listen to Bill Cosby not obama or sharpton or jackson.
Two crappy choices for the Presidency but of the two Obama is likely to be the worst in History.I agree on both points - Obama will send this country so far into a black hole ( no pun intended) that we may never recover. There are some tough times coming, that should be expected. but what he wants to do will send us so far left complete chaos will be the result. Thanks for your comments
very interesting website. its nice to see a place with some sane respectful political discussion instead of the hate-filled attacks in the comments section of most news sites. I'm not quite sure why Obama is talked about like he's far left or something, his political views are actually slightly to the right of Hillary's on healthcare and other issues. I think it's the fact that he is disliked by rural, southern uneducated whites (i wonder why) who tend to skew right politically. Ironically, the whiskey pounding working class hero Hillary Clinton was born into wealth and went to an exclusive feminist college on daddy's dime, while Obama was brought up scrimping and saving by a single mother and went to Harvard on scholarships.
I do like this entry aswell, for we should be aware of what he (obama hussein) has in store for our (americans) country. Just read his BOOK. wow "White Folks" ... or as Michelle O. puts it "Black America will wake up". I am scared for the american future. The value of our dollar... The potency of the Democracy is over powering. Obama does think he will be the USA's last president. Ofcourse after he has his law of Presidents can server over 2 terms passed. BS .... America is going downhill and thats what the "people " voted for. So buckle up!
